Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G LTE

Verizon has at last revealed the release details of the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G LTE. The tablet is available to the users from today in both 16GB and 32GB storage options. The 16 GB model is available at a price range of $529 while the one that has 32 GB storage space is available for $629.

There seems to be a little dissimilarity for the dual-core Honeycomb monthly plans too, starting at $30 for 2GB of data and then an increase of up to $80 for 10GB.

The available 4G LTE and Wi-Fi Models measure a mere 8.6 mm thin and weigh just at 1.25 pounds. They are offered in metallic grey or glossy white in Verizon stores and they can be also ordered online at www.verizonwireless.com/SamsungTab4GLTE.

The 4G LTE supports 5 to 12 Mbps download speed and up to 2 to 5 Mbps upload speeds in areas with 4G mobile broadband coverage.

Other details that were depicted in the press release include among others: Android 3.1 Honeycomb platform; 10.1” HD touch screen display with 1280 x 800 resolution; Adobe Flash 10.3; NVIDIA Tegra2 dual-core 1 GHz processor; rear-facing and front-facing cameras; and, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi; and, support for 1080p video playback in HD on a High Definition TV or any other HD device with 1080p.
